I work as a fashion designer and illustrator. I was born and raised in India. I moved to Los Angeles four years ago to study fashion (at "The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising") and learn more about the industry. My interest in fashion stemmed from my mother's gorgeous Indian traditional clothing. I used to take my mother's old clothing and make something fashionable out of them when I was younger. My fascination with textiles intensified; being surrounded by them made me joyful. My art frequently displays a fusion of Indian and Western culture. I believe in designing multifunctional, timeless apparel.
